Zhongjie Times Tianqiao Project

On the morning of August 25th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Zhongjie Times Tianqiao project was held in Liyuan Street. Mayor Zhao Xingji of Pingdu, Director Xia Yingping of the Municipal Party Committee Office, Chairman Zhang Jian of Jiangsu Zhongjie Real Estate Group, General Manager Wu Jiayong of Qingdao Zhongjie Real Estate Group, Chairman Sun Jiongguang and Deputy General Manager Zhao Zhigang of Qingdao Xinguangzheng Steel Structure Co., Ltd., as well as General Manager Zhang Minghu of the Tonghe Branch, attended the ceremony.

The Zhongjie Times Square Overpass Project is the first cross-street overpass project in Pingdu. The entire project consists of three overpasses. The east straight-through overpass has a length of 56.3 meters and a width of 5 meters, while the west straight-through overpass has a length of 49 meters and a width of 5 meters. The central circular overpass has a main bridge deck with a diameter of 56 meters, featuring a petal-like design, with a narrowest point of 6.5 meters and a widest point of 12 meters. The construction of a cross-street overpass on Hongqi Road can avoid interference between pedestrians and vehicles, improve road traffic capacity, and effectively solve the problems of crossing efficiency and safety for large crowds of people.

Upon completion, it will become the most urban-styled commercial district in the main urban area of Pingdu City, and also serve as a landscape and cultural landmark of Pingdu.
